Structural Engineer

Job Description

: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and providing recommendations for structural components and systems for various construction projects. The Structural Engineer will work closely with architects, and other engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.

• Design, analyse and recommend structural components and systems for construction projects.
• Evaluate the feasibility of proposed designs and analyse their impact on the overall project.
• Collaborate with architects, builders, and other engineers to ensure that the design meets the project's needs and requirements.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and determine the feasibility of proposed modifications or additions.
• Prepare detailed reports and technical drawings that outline the design, specifications, and materials needed for the project.
• Review and approve construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams during the construction phase of the project.
• Ensure that all designs and construction plans comply with local building codes and regulations.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis software and techniques.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software: This software is used to create 2D and 3D models of structures, including architectural and engineering drawings.
• FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software: This software is used to analyse and simulate complex structures under various loads and conditions, and to determine their strength and stability.
• BIM (Building Information Modelling) software: This software is used to create digital models of buildings and other structures, and to manage and analyse information about them throughout their lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with architects, builders, and other engineers.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
